Preview/paulau Fix for #406 #408

Fixed the search form. Prevented it from stretching past the screen and added internal scrolling within the form.

Works well, however this branch has diverged a long way from the default.

It looks like only the last 3 commits relate to the fix: 3a77c40 252d1ee 6e1f53e

Apologies. I had synced my fork, not my branch before making the updates. I'll correct it now.
