apaleo Pay already supports alternative payment methods on the payment link for some months, but until now the API did not allow to provide the payment account details and transaction reference directly on booking creation.
Now you can also pass in payment account information and/or the transaction reference for alternative payment methods. For the payment methods that do not support tokenization (like e.g. maestro) you can initiate the transaction and then only send us the transaction reference, so we distribute this payment accros all the reservations that have been prepaid on the IBE already.
The payment methods we see as valuable to consider and test as a start are the following:
Local Debit Cards: maestro, vpay, Bancontact (BE), Carte Bancaires Online Banking: sofort by Klarna, finish eBanking, giropay, iDeal Wallet: PayPal, Twint
Depending on the guarantee type of the offers you would have to adjust the payment methods you show to the booker. E.g. for a guarantee by CC bookings offering maestro or twint would not make sense as they cannot be put on file (tokenized) for later usage.
