Not 100% on the state of OpenGL on Nvidia, but if you have < OpenGL 1.5 (use
glxinfo), you can't use Rice, the OpenGL 1.4 and lower combiners have issues.
If
this isn't the case, try ScreenUpdateSetting=1 in the .ini. Finally, might want
to
give svn a try.

i get something similar problem with my mac and my ATI Radeon HD. if i click on
a
different window the screen flickers between the actual game, and the moment
when i
deviated from the window. i should point out that this only happens with super
mario
64. maybe it deserves a seperate issue?

This is a very old bug report and does not specify any particular ROMs to test.
If
the orginal reporter can verify that this bug still remains with the latest
code in
Mercurial, please re-open this issue report. Give a particular ROM which
exhibits
the problem. Also, try adding the ScreenUpdateSetting parameter to the ROM's
unique
section in the RiceVideoLinux.ini file, and try using different values (from 1
to 7)
for this parameter to see if it affects the problem.

Software: Mupen64Plus 1.99.4
Video: nVidia Corporation C51 [GeForce 6150 LE] (rev a2)
This problem happens while using the NVidia Binary driver that you download
from their website. I did install the latest driver from NVidia and that
reports in your program as:
Video: Using OpenGL: NVIDIA Corporation - GeForce 6150 LE/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW! :
2.1.2 NVIDIA 260.19.29
GLXInfo:
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 6150 LE/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW!
OpenGL version string: 2.1.2 NVIDIA 260.19.29
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20 NVIDIA via Cg compiler
Just so you are aware this problem does still exist! I did try your
ScreenUpdateSetting=1 and that DID NOT correct the problem. I got this problem
with Mario Kart 64 (b655503e52da922e-45). However, I did notice a line in that
config file for Banjo-Kazooie (0693bfa4d1df0cbf-45) with ScreenUpdateSetting=4.
I tried that just for a laugh and IT WORKED!!
I recommend resetting that flag in future releases of this program. For now, I
have a nice little work around. Can anyone else confirm this flag works for
this game or Super Mario 64 with the NVidia Binary Driver??
