I got it working on my mac with glide by pressing 'alt-enter'. Didn't work with
other
video drivers though, will need to check that (maybe SDL messes up somehow?)

Go to configure mupen64plus click configure under the options key and click the
hotkeys tab. Once under the hotkeys tab map out a button on your controller to
toggle between fullscreen. Also make sure the resolution is set to 640x480 in
fullscreen. Using this method is the only way I could get it to go fullscreen.
I hope
this helps

There was a duplicate issue under OSX whereby an SDL application, if started in
windowed mode, could not be switched into fullscreen mode. This was previously
the
only startup sequence possible for the glN64 and Rice Video plugins, so only
Glide64
would support fullscreen. This has been fixed in the new Rice Video code.
Please
re-test this problem with the latest code in Mercurial and re-open the issue
report
if the problem remains.
