no configure menu item with QT4 in OS X

Describe your system:
- Linux distribution:
Mac OS X
- Machine type: (32-bit or 64-bit)
32bit (i think)
- Mupen64Plus version:
r1402
- Plugins used:
none

For visual artifacts, give:
- game name and CRC/MD5 hash (printed on console)
- description of the artifact (missing polygons, flashing, wrong colors, etc)

Describe the problem:
there is no way to pull up the settings menu in the qt4 gui. see:

The GUI code has been removed from the core Mupen64Plus modules.  New QT and/or 
GTK
GUIs should be developed (either from scratch or based on the older SVN code).
