Section 2.4 FORM THE EXPERT GROUP:

Change: "When a JSR is approved the PMO instructs the identified Spec Lead to form the Expert Group. If the Member contributing the Spec Lead withdraws from the JCP before the JSR is approved, the PMO shall request the preliminary Expert Group to choose a replacement from among themselves who is willing to take on the duties defined in this document."

To: "When a JSR is approved the PMO instructs the identified Spec Lead to form the Expert Group and to identify additional Members who may be interested in serving as Contributors. If the Member contributing the Spec Lead withdraws from the JCP before the JSR is approved the PMO shall request the preliminary Expert Group to choose a replacement."

When a JSR is approved the PMO instructs the identified Spec Lead to form the Expert Group and to identify additional Members who may be interested in serving as Contributors. If the Member contributing the Spec Lead withdraws from the JCP before the JSR is approved the PMO shall request the preliminary Expert Group to choose a replacement.

The expert group may consist of Agents representing JCP members and Individual JCP members. In addition, the spec lead may [should?] form an affiliate group that can include participation from both full JCP members and Affiliate JCP members, with the contribution constraints of this group matching the constraints of Affiliate Members described elsewhere in this document.

Affiliate Members may designate an association with a Partner Member when serving as a contributor to a JSR.

Some of John's proposed changes had already been made (in slightly different form). For the record, the relevant section now reads:

"When a JSR is approved the PMO instructs the identified Spec Lead to form the Expert Group and to identify additional Members who may be interested in serving as Contributors. Many of the latter are likely to be Affiliate Members, since this class of member is prohibited from participating as Expert Group members. Affiliate Members may designate an association with a Partner Member when serving as a Contributor to a JSR."
