JCPNEXT4-44: Track the employers of individual Full Members who are employed and associates of Full Corporate Members #38

Closed apastsya closed 7 years ago

apastsya commented 10 years ago

Jira issue originally created by user heathervc:

Add language in the process document requiring people -- either employed individual Full Members or people associated with Full Members -- to notify the PMO when they change employers. Add language requiring Spec Lead to report to the PMO any employer changes of people on their Expert Group.

Require these types of people to use their employer email address vs a personal email address, since this address will bounce if the person changes employers.

Comment created by weirj535:

This is the clause from the OpenStack agreement

https://review.openstack.org/static/cla.html

  1. You agree to notify the Project Manager of any facts or circumstances of which you become aware that would make these representations inaccurate in any respect.

We should look to add similar language to the JSPA

Since we're not changing the JSPA in this JSR I'll create a new Issue in JSR 358 to ensure that we track this suggestion.

Comment created by pcurran:

Suggested text to be added to section 3.1.1.4 Full Member:

"Such [employed] individuals should register with their employee rather than with a personal email address in order to enable the PMO to track changes in employment. They should also inform the PMO when they change employers."

Similar text should be added to section 3.1.1.4 Member Representative.
