The WG proposes that we make this change when we update the Process Document as part of JHSR 364. We will also discuss with the EC at the London F2F meeting in May 2014.
Comment created by heathervc:
We decided to make this change in the WG 20 May.

Proposed fix
On line 620:
Change: "At the close of the Maintenance Review the PMO shall initiate a 7-day Maintenance Review Ballot."
To: "At the close of the Maintenance Review the PMO shall initiate a 14-day Maintenance Review Ballot."
Comment created by pcurran:
Fixed in version 1 of the revised Process Document.
Comment created by heathervc:
We should consider allowing an exception for Maintenance Leads to select a 2 week review period vs minimum of 4 weeks if there is a minor/urgent fix to be addressed in a Maintenance Release.
Comment created by pcurran:
Reopening, since Heather has suggested an additional change.

The second fix is actually in section 3.6.3 (not 3.6.4) but it is there. Closing as fixed.

Jira issue originally created by user pcurran:
Currently Maintenance Review Ballots run for 7 days while all others run for 14 days. This sometimes makes it difficult for EC members to review and vote in time. It would be simpler and more consistent if all ballots ran for 14 days.
