Add 5 Unique Companies Or Project To the Use Dai List #21

Add 5 new companies or projects which accept Dai as payments, donations, or enable its use in some productive way on their platform. Your own company or Freelance business can be included.

Please do not make assumptions about any companies for which it is not clear Dai can be accepted.

@apbendi I'd like to work on this. I checked with Gitcoin staff and there's some issue right now keeping me from being able to apply for the bounty. Can I go ahead and work on it and then do the PR/submission on Gitcoin once the issue is resolved?

Hi @acolytec3! You did awesome work on the first bounty, but I'd like to get someone else involved if they're interested. If no one claims it shortly, happy to have you tackle it.

@apbendi These are the unique companies/projects that use dai that should meet the guidelines and use dai If all these are good, I'll put them in the proper format and send the pull request.

@altprogamer 3-5 look great!

Whisp sounds interesting but, can you point me to something other than their signup page? Specifically, is there something that indicates they utilize Dai?

Publish0x sets off some alarm bells for me, honestly. Free tips in crypto? Do you know much about the platform? Is there anywhere that indicates they use Dai? If not, I think my preference would be to find a replacement for this one.

hey @apbendi Thanks for the review.

For whisp, I sent you to their main app wesbite which they have set up as a signup page. I think that's a bad design since it doesn't explain much about the app. I actually looked at this which is their intro announcement, In the image you'll see that there are options for using Dai as payment. This can also be verified by signing up for the service, I am able to see a balance field for Dai. So I think this should qualify.

For publish0x, as far as using dai for tips is concerned, here's an article by them announcing that Dai would now be accepted for tips. I only found the platform yesterday and yes on the surface it doesn't sound right, I initially thought that free tipping could be a short term thing to gain market share but in their FAQ page they say that the tips are sponsored by them and they intend to keep it that way. After reading the FAQ page, I'm feeling ambivalent.

I'd say you also have a look at the FAQ as well and share your thoughts and I'll look for another option in the case we don't include it.

For another option, how about this https://www.coinbase.com/earn/dai Its basically a tutorial on dai by coinbase and on completing it one can earn actual dai.

hey @altprogamer, merged your PR and I'm ready to pay out your bounty, but it's not showing as a submission on Gitcoin. Something you have to do on your end?

@apbendi Yes I had to submit it on gitcoin, done that but right now gas prices are very high so its taking some time. I'll ping you here as soon as the submit request is accepted on the blockchain.
