Inquiry on parameter tuning #4

Hi

I am attempting to call the viral genes from the complete viral genomes and viral MAGs for the further annotation

This question is a little bit basic, whereas I would like to ask when I need to use single Vs meta mode for viral gene calling

Sorry, I completely missed this issue!

To leverage the new models (including the ones with alternative codes) you do need to use the -p meta flag.
