Inspired by pytest_gitignore.py from tgs/pytest-gitignore.

I just noticed there hasn't been any new commits for about three years and #5 has been sitting for several months without feedback. Is there still interest in maintaining this project?

Friendly ping?

posita commented 2 years ago

@apenwarr, any chance of getting this merged?

Ping?

I messaged the owner of this repository a while ago and I sadly I have to tell that this repository is no longer maintained.

I created a fork where I merged the other two prs, but I'm currently really not in the situation where I could do anything about it. I might pick this up in a month or so if I have more time and might then try to create a pip package for my fork too.

@apenwarr, if you're not going to maintain this directly, maybe consider adding @Siphalor as a contributor to approve/merge PRs? In the alternative, maybe give up the PyPI entry so others can move forward?

Well, as I said - I currently don't have time for this anyway.

But I might try to pick this up in a month or so :)
