Maginfying Zones are not working #451

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. put all the attachement in a temporary directory
2. call the local_example.html I did
3. look to first band

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I was expecting to see a more precise zone around year 1900-1920
with a progressive zoom : by year from 1900-1914 and 1918-1929 and by monthes
during 1914-1918
Instead the timeline is remaining on decades

What version of the product are you using? On what browser and what
operating system?
Timeline release is the 2.3
Browser is Internet Explorer 7
OS is windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
As I start only since 2 days using your superb timeline I'm sure it's a rookie
stupid error

Sorry pyco for the lack of response. The best place to ask for help is on the
mailing list--the Google group. If you don't get a response then your other
option would be to offer to hire someone to assist.

The problem is that the developers have moved on to other projects and others
have not stepped in to support the project. Timeline continues to work well but
is currently in a low maintenance mode.

Another suggestion is to do stepwise refinement--start with a single zoomed
zone from the examples and then modify a working timeline until you have it the
way you want it.

Another idea is to ask your question on stackoverflow web site.

Good luck.
