Add 500 new words to Spanish-Catalan bidix #2

500 new words have been added to the Spanish-Catalan bilingual dictionary.

Actually, in that file there were a lot of unknown words, so I found other 300 normally used words. This would also be very useful for any language pair including Spanish, to complete their dictionaries.

Monolingual packages PRs:

albertonl commented 5 years ago

Sorry, were 384 into the Spanish monolingual dictionary and 204 into the Catalan one :D

Can you tell me what does LR actually stand for, please?

albertonl commented 5 years ago

Does LR mean that that translation does only work from language a to language b, and RL that does only work from language b to language a? Am I wrong?

xavivars commented 5 years ago

That's exactly it.

Here you have an example, taken from apertium-spa-cat bilingual dictionary

<e r="RL"> <p><l>décimo<s n="adj"/></l> <r>dècim<s n="adj"/></r></p></e>
<e> <p><l>décimo<s n="adj"/></l> <r>desè<s n="adj"/></r></p></e>

In this example, Spanish adjective décimo will be translated as Catalan adjective desè, and viceversa. On top of that, Catalan adjective dècim will also be translated as Spanish décimo.

Does it make sense?

Yes, it does! Thank you so much, Xavi. 😀
