This has been working well for me. Outdoor power reports values while the system is idle, but it's a low value when it does, and by no means consistent. It may very well be doing something in the meanwhile whereas the indoor value is plainly bogus in that on my system it's hard-pegged to 920w when idle.

For what it's worth, I do have whole house power monitoring just not individual monitoring per circuit. It appears that the variable outdoor power measurements while the system is status 5 idle are bogus as well.
