Currently this project has some dependencies that force us to use CERN-OHL-S on gateware, firmware and hardware components of this project.

However, I think the project may be better served by a more relaxed license choice, particularly on the gateware and firmware (perhaps BSD or OHL-P).
The hardware license I am not planning changing from CERN-OHL-S, this issue only concerns itself with gateware and firmware licenses.
