Update dependency (LibLouis #12

Open tbdalgaard opened 11 months ago

tbdalgaard commented 11 months ago

LibLouis is well maintained, and releases new official versions at least four times each year.

Is there a way to update LibLouis either releasing an updated version of lt, or by creating some documentation on how to update LibLouis and the tabels manually?

For some languages (Danish for example) there was a major revision of the Danish Braille back in 2022, and if this tool should work probably with Danish Braille, LibLouis might need to get updated before these changes will work probably. I will be appy to contribute suggestions for documentation if that is the path to follow in this case.

I take pull request . I have had outside people upgrade to the newest Liblouis before. If you have the time go ahead upgrade to the new Liblouis and send me a pull request. I can update it but not till the end of the year this year.

Ok, I can look into this. I mainly just copy-pasted the files around, but don't know if that actually changes versions or handles the DLL registration probably if that is needed by LibLouis. How did others go ahead about upgrading their LibLouis?
