Every 3 months, a small vitual event with multiple discussion rooms over 1-2 days, which allow fo talks, discussion of spec issues, adoption etc. on a selected set of workshop topics. Also including an OAI 101 talk. The aim is to have a more regular community tech discussion forum. Ideally this should include advancing the specification work also. It would be primarily members attending probably but open to non-members. The important metric for success is not the # of people attending, but the quality of the discussion and possible tech advances that come out of it. Costs: the virtual event space / platform + a (volunteer) set of coordinators to make the events happen. These could become physical events post Covid emergency.
