question: Any chance of creating plugin integration to hapijs in addition to express, connect and argos? #62

I see you have integration of volos using express, connect and argos middleware, it would be great if there were also hapijs plugins for volos.

I am fairly new to node, I've used express but I am playing with the idea of trying out volos along with trying out hapijs for a simple proof of concept.

Thanks for the suggestion - and of course there is a chance! I'm just not sure what the priority will be yet. :) I'm curious: What is it that attracted you to Hapi?

Great! I know you guys are crazy busy so I really appreciate that Hapi is being considered. I've used Express in a previous project but I've been starting to look at Hapi and it just has a more industrial strength enterprise feel to it. I really like they way they do things and with all the buzz behind it lately by the big enterprises that are using it, it feels like it would be a great fit for Volos (and Apigee).

I guess Hapi seems much easier to configure for enterprises. Express feels like too much magic for me, I like that Express makes things easy to get up and running but I always feel like there is too much magic if things go wrong. It also seems harder to be more flexible to create a solution that maybe doesn't exactly fit the opinions/architecture assumed by Express.

I also have a lot of confidence in Walmart Labs and Eran Hammer. Implementing node for the enterprise is catching on but is still in early days so knowing Walmart as well as other big companies seem to be getting behind node using Hapi (i.e. American Express, Paypal, etc.) makes it an easier sell to management when they are reluctant to bring in new tech. Their black friday success story also helps to sell node and Hapi.

I really think that node is the right choice for the API facade which is what helped me to find Volos (which is also leading me to look at Apigee). If Hapi was in the mix I really think it would be a slam dunk for more Enterprises looking into the API space.
