Request failures result in non-descriptive messages sent to console #47

There are many areas where request fail for unknown reasons and log messages do not provide an indication as to what failed and why. Often simply logging null to console and not indicating what resource failed with a helpful message.

I have similar behaviour. Unable to troubleshoot exact cause...
