There are a lot of different links on the left side of the page (https://api.gov.au/). They are all quite useful. But when I want to read them, I click on one, it opens, and there is nothing to indicate which link is currently open. Additionally, the whole page reloads, meaning that the menu on the left moves. As a result, it's difficult to know what link on the left corresponds to the current page. It's fairly difficult to start on page one and read to the end, since it's hard to keep your place.
Suggested fix: Highlight the link on the left to indicate the current document.
Additional suggestions: Back and forward arrows to make it easy to browse the site. The back arrow goes to the page directly above the current page, and the forward arrow goes to the subsequent page.
