This is EPIC. People at APIOPs meetup in Helsinki in loud voice coming from all sides of the table said that this would be a killer. Their point of view was the API owners point of view. Basicly this would mean normal management tasks related things. Another thing that was raised: alerts about anomalies with APIs.

We need to evaluate current platform API plans and see what is missing.

Can you provide some more information about what "managing APIs" concretely means? I will also create a ticket seperatly for the "monitoring alerts" idea.

It refers to normal API management operations done by API manager (person). Adding, removing publishing APIs, able to see key performance indicators, user/role management.

Ok, thanks for that feedback! Seems like this needs a high-level approach, as this would mean integration with other platforms (apinf.io). We also started talking to develop an open-source alternative to Hub to host and manage OpenAPI spec files.

Definitely see the value in this. Let's make it happen!
