Another aspect of SLA is putting mouth where the money is. Showing analytics information for end-users is more convincing than just saying it "We promise this and that". SLA is needed, but combination of SLA and publics stats would have greater impact.

@kyyberi Analytics are very good way to proof that API is working, and yes, as important as SLA. Now in APInf it's impossible to say who has added the API.
But when choosing an API I would prefer to choose from the real API owner, and I would like to know that API owner is committed to maintain the API. I would not dare to use API on my APP unless I would know how long can I trust the API to be alive.
Iceboxing this for the time being.
As an developer I want to be able to see SLA (Service Level Agreement) from API owner so that I know that I can trust that the API I'm using will be up and running the time promised.
API owner has to be able to give the time line he/she assures the API is on production quality.
