I have asked several questions on Stack Overflow and received advice to include js files directly in my app. The full context of that question was also addressed in this one of my SO posts:
I have tried the suggestions in the answers to these questions (first having removed the gmaps4rails:copy_js file).
I am so stuck on this. I currently get an error saying:
26:1533 Uncaught ReferenceError: handler is not defined
I can't find anyone else who has had this particular error (others have gmaps not defined or marker clustered not defined).
Is there an up to date tutorial on how to get started with Gmaps4Rails?

I've been stuck for months now in trying to set this up.
I've tried every variation of these instructions and the directions in this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi3yxYs8Y4Q clip.
