Don't think altmetric has crawled apostilb yet. Also, the score will (ideally, for our purposes) always be low but could change over time thus failing to fulfill one of our criteria... Does it really add something valuable to the posts, or just clutter?

Yes, but that's a different story, really. Not what I was thinking about. :)

Well, I certainly wish the authors well and hope their scores rise! :D

I was thinking that if the scores are low when we publish, it makes our point about covering less-covered science publications?

but the score changes dynamically, so it could be low when we publish, but if someone looks at the post a year from now it may contradict our mission statement. unless there's a way to timestamp and freeze the badge...

@neuroamanda: Not sure we can control the future just yet… It's ok if the Altmetric score goes up later.
