Currently you can't pick a future dated blog post for a widget. They show up in the manage/chooser hybrid view and you can check the box but it never appears in the chooser at left.
This is buggy and needs to be fixed, but what's the right fix? Do we forbid you from choosing things not published yet for a widget? That's lame if your goal was to prepopulate the home page with posts that will go live at the appropriate moment. Or do we just add an indicator in autocomplete and the manage list view that something isn't published yet, so that users don't have the reverse complaint: that they picked something and it doesn't show up and they don't know why?
I favor this latter solution but what should the indicator look like?
