On the home page, I could not register. The cursor appears as the standard arrow
instead of the hand.

I got the email straight away, which is always nice. I didn’t like that I was
sent a
random password and then have to log in and go to my user options to choose my
own
password. This is important to me and is never a good quality in a site. I also
wish
the site would have let me use a 6 letter password, as opposed to making me
uses at
least 8 letters. Even though it may not be very safe, I, like many other, like
to use
the same password on all the sites I visit. By enforcing password guidelines and
making me use a different password, I become less likely to sign in to the site
again.
I looked around the site then but realized I was no longer signed in after
changing
my password. So I went to sign in with my user name and changed password, but
it said
it wasn’t recognized. Then I said I forgot my password and typed in my email.
It told
me my email wasn’t recognized. So I went to the authorization email I had
received
earlier and clicked the one time link for a second time. It said I’d used up
my one
time click so log in instead. I clicked the log in button and it said “page
not
found”. Exasperated, I looked to the top of the page, and it told me I was
signed in.
Not sure what the error was that caused this.

Everything seems to work as it should - upon registering, it took me back to
the home
page where a 'Your password and further instructions have been sent to your
e-mail
address.' block appeared between the navigation and search. Aside from possibly
making the confirmation stand out more visually, everything seems to work as it
should.
I was able to change my password and remained logged in unless I went to
channels
(http://beta.channels.ourmedia.org/og) or tried to create one. This again has
to do
with the 'shared sign-in' needing to be implemented.
Will revisit once that happens.
