I like the general layout of the main page, although the Ourmedia logo needs
some
help. The blue links (dashboard, forums, etc.) which lie beneath the logo are
difficult to see.

1- Login fields need to be labeled- people are used to seeing search fields as
well
as login fields, may be confused; the search field is labeled but it's not as
easy to
see since it's centered and is a less dominant color

6- site workflows need to be more obvious help users know what to do when they
get to
Ourmedia. seems like you can (1) upload media, (2) find and share media in
Channels
and (3) create a producer/user portfolio. Do you need to do these in a
particular
order? lead people through tasks (like Blogger.com start page you see when not
logged
in http://www.blogger.com/start)

13- Move Dashboard link up to Login block so all user-specific navigation takes
place
in same area

1- Notifications Need Empahsis- example: the one that says "Thank you for
applying
for an account..." notification should be in RED or have a diff. color
background,
the plain black blends in too much 'The changes have been saved.'

Some vanity-oriented users might want different skins, though? Something
lighter or
darker? But again, it's more vanity than function. Personally, I love the
current layout.

My first impression of the front page is that it is bulky and the color scheme
is
unattractive. The color and design remind me of an old fashioned saloon, not
something I associate with media and technology. Overall, every thing on the
site is
too big. I feel like I have to lean away from the screen just to see
everything. The
text is especially large. I would reduce it by a size so that it matches with
the
rest of the web.
The other problem I immediately noticed while beginning to browse was that the
website loads extremely slow. Clicking on “Learning Center”, I was stuck
with dark
green text on a brown background (not a pretty site) for about 18 seconds while
a
while background layer loaded. This is probably the number one issue that
deters users.
My final impression is that it is not immediately clear what this website is
for and
why I should move past the front page. The tag is “What’s your cause?”,
with the S’s
capitalized., but it’s not immediately clear why this is being done.

Marked as wontfix until we have a chance to review them, so that new issues
are shown clearly.
