7 years ago @imurchie its a react native app. I can run this app from xcode when building the app on simulator but it does not work from appium

7 years ago I should have been more specific. What are the desired capabilities, etc? This is the reason we request the full server logs (as a gist).

@imurchie there is no logs at all when running my code, app launching and in 2 seconds simulator just crashing with no logs (3 attempts). Is it because of Xcode 7? (its React Native app)

7 years ago There must be logs. If you are running from the app, they will be in the main window. If from the command line, they are whatever is printed out there.

I also tried with .ipa file but its even worser, it just start blinking. I have tried steps from "#6404" but it did not help.

7 years ago @imurchie The app works fine if I launch it from Xcode simulator. What else could I check? Thanks

7 years ago Can you make sure that the log level is set to debug? The logs do not show any indication of a session being started.

The problem
When appium tries to run application, it shows first screen then simulator crashing and keep trying 2-3 times and same results. I have tried steps from "https://github.com/appium/appium/issues/6404" but it did not help.
