2 years ago @achnir97 the way miner selection is currently implemented, there is no guarantee that only your providers will be selected. There is planned work to redesign this for both short term and long term.
I will pick up this ticket to address this for the short term
I am running estuary local node on my pc. And also running estuary-www to upload files through UI. As an admin, I removed all the previously listed miner id from the Provider section of the admin and added two miner id that i am interested to make a deal.
I uploaded the file greater than 3.59 Gibs to make the deal right after the successful upload of file in Estuary. But when the deal is suppose to take place, estuary is trying to make a deal with miner id that is not in my provider list.
When i check with the endpoints if previously listed miner were removed successfully, it shows they were successfully removed since only 2 miners that i added through UI were shown as an output of endpoint.
I have attached the screen shots of the miner list that i added in provider section in Estuary-www.
