Got this request from some of the users.

whitecat commented 11 years ago

Should we create a new folder in the Git repo with the Kindle port?

applications4android commented 11 years ago

I guess the synopsis for this issue is confusing. The actual intent of this issue is to make the ComicReader app available for Kindle Fire users as well. I guess the following link should help in this regard: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2396283,00.asp

Make sure you use an older version. I tried this on The newest version from app store, and the walk through cannot be followed as the things they say do not appear.

I guess the only steps required are backup apk file from phone and install is via easy installer on Kindle. If somebody asks for apk file that can be provided.

applications4android commented 11 years ago

Apparently with "Easy Installer" app can be installed in Kindle Fire HD, but because there is no Menu button in the device, comics cannot be selected.

whitecat commented 11 years ago

we can make another way to select menu by swipe up. The same problem is faced with blackberry 10

applications4android commented 11 years ago

Swipe up or down is used to scroll the list in main menu.

whitecat commented 11 years ago

Umm. maybe a little gear in the corner.

whitecat commented 11 years ago

There is another swipe on bb10. that is swipe from off the top of the screen down. That opens up settings.
