4 years ago DRM removal happens when you add the book to calibre, not during conversion. Post a log from adding the book and we'll see what's up:

I have followed all instructions to install tools, including adding my Kindle Touch and Kindle Paperwhite reg codes, but am getting an error. I hope this can be put right. The ebook is registered and downloaded from my account on Amazon.
