DRM removal is successful. But there are issues with conversion. I'd recommend disabling KFX downloads. See this post for details: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=283371

If the older format turns out to be AZW4, I recommend using the Kindle Unpack plugin to extract the PDF.
