[Obok DeDRM v7.2.1] Kobo Directory Cannot be found with Kobo Desktop #1770

After fresh install of Kobo Desktop 4.28.13879 calibre-5.23.0 DeDRM_tools_7.2.1 Catalina 10.15

Error message returned when click on obok installed plugin is

Calibre, version 5.23.0 ERROR: Obok DeDRM v7.2.1:

Could not find Kobo Library

Windows/Mac: do you have Kobo Desktop installed?

Windows/Mac/Linux: In case you have an Kobo eInk device, connect the device.

1) reinstalled the kobo Desktop twice now. Same error returns. 2) checked obok configuration (by: preferences/plugins search obok and double click on item to set settings to always and kobo directory (verified kobo directory is correct and pointing to kepub). Click Apply. /Users/xx/Library/Application Support/Kobo/Kobo Desktop Edition/kepub

Then, I have reverted back to Calibre 4.23 and DeDRM tools 6.54 and the Kobo Directory was found first time, correctly.

Does 7.2.1 DEDRM OBOK plugin work with Kobo Desktop? I do not own an kobo reader to test another way. I was using Desktop as Kobo has more than one way of drm, so ADE only sometimes works.

Obok 7.2.1 does work with Kobo Desktop for some. It didn't work for me on Windows 10, but Obok 7.1.0 did. There is some discussion and a couple alternate versions in issue #1718. I usually use ADE and DeDRM which always works for me.
