In most cases, you should be able to get older formats for the oldest Kindle.
OK. Thanks. It seems she likes the frequent Amazon promotions of 90p books. Based on what you've said, are they a no-no now? library-user
Those are probably fine. If a book isn't available for older devices, the product page will say that is only available for certain devices/apps.
I have a friend who has a Kindle which is now more than 10 years old. She has tried to download books prior to her holiday but they are failing to download. She has investigated and is of the opinion that Amazon will no longer download books to Kindles of that age. I don't have a Kindle, thank goodness, so is she correct or - remote chance - has Amazon issued a software update which she hasn't applied and so can't get books of the latest encoding? Thanks library-user
