Will DeDRM support .azw files from 1.25 and later versions of Kindle for PC/Mac in further versions? #785

Whenever someone with the skills and the desire decides to figure it out and share. I imagine it will happen, but it might not be until the need is more pressing.

I compared the .azw files downloaded from the same book in different date. Even with the previous 1.21 version (Mac os), the newly downloaded .azw file looks smaller than before, and the plugin no longer works. After importing Calibre, the .azw format is maintained instead of being Automatically converted to the .mobi format.

It seems that amazon has re-encrypted the .azw file on the server side. I will try to download the file on the mobile device lately.

@ahanqin has made a point, the DRM plugIn still could work on the files downloaded from Kindle for mac 1.23.1 when I started this issue, and it stopped working now. Calibre couldn't even read the file and get the cover now.

Still working for versions prior to 1.25 for both Kindle for PC and Mac. And now it's also possible to use Kindle for Mac 1.25. See here:
