The PC apps have also stopped working. I think that's why DeDRM key retrieval is broken -- it used the same way that Nook for PC retrieved the key.
I haven't done it myself, but it should be possible to get the key and books from an Android device. It might require root access though.
Someone wrote up instructions for setting up Android in VirtualBox on Windows to get Nook books. You might be able use it to figure out getting them off an actual Android device. Look for Difflugia's post on this page:

And here's info about where to find the key:
Of course, these posts are from last summer so the info could be out-of-date by now. But may be a starting point anyway.
Ditto here. Just ran into this on my machine. I would like to help whether it means coding or testing.
Running Calibre 3.28.0 and just installed the DeDRM 6.2.2 plugin
Retrieving key via the DeDRM config tool fails. I enter my BN username and password and get a fail message on the key retrieval
I downloaded and installed the legacy MacOS Nook versions: both the basic Nook and the Nook Study versions. The former will not open on my Mac (Mojave 10.14.3) and the latter will open but never fully loads and runs. So I cannot use these to get the decrypt key and load it into DeDRM
Any ideas for how to address this? -- Can I find the key somewhere on my Android tablet? That device has an operating nook reader and properly downloads and opens Nook Books. -- This is the only download path I know of since BN dropped the download option for Macs/PCs. -- Would it work to move the downloaded epub from the tablet and load it into Calibre on the MAC?
