Avare Version 10.3.1
Android Version 14
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
Left wing tip is uAvionix SkyBeacon ADSB-Out unit (installed in 2020)
Right wing tip is uAvionix SkySensor ADSB-In (and GPS) unit (installed March 2024) connected to Avare on the I/O page
My N-number and ICAO mode S code are entered in the Acft page of Avare to define my "ownship"
In a response to issue #506 it was said that this should be sufficient for Avare to inhibit the display of ownship as traffic. But, at least with this combination of ADSB-Out and ADSB-In devices, my ownship still appears as traffic on the Avare Map page.
Note that there is a "SkyBeacon Install" app that sets the ADSB-Out parameters (including the N-number and Mode S code), but there is no app for modifying the SkySensor ADSB-In operation in any way. This ownship filtering needs to happen in Avare.
As an aside, the IFlyEFB app has a setting: "Filter Ghost Traffic – Filters out ADS-B traffic that matches your Aircraft Profile" and their Profile only has an N-number, no Mode S code. When this setting is enabled, my ownship disappears as traffic in their map display.
A suggestion would be to add such a filter to Avare. In any case, it needs to work with SkySensor ADSB-In.
Thanks for all the great work that the volunteers do in creating and maintaining the Avare app.

I hope this issue can be addressed.
