So using this bilibili video you posted as a benchmark - this team has C2 EL National Raiden team supplemented with FS Bennet, which should in almost any scenario out-DPS Memu's mono-electro team w/ C3 Catch Raiden and C3 Sara.

On the second half, I see that the Bilibili video has a very well-built Fishcl and lv90 Sucrose providing substantial electro-charged /swirl sub-DPS to a very well-built C1 Xiao. As a double geo C1 Xiao/Sucrose user on the second half myself, I can see how the bilibili video team can beat double geo Xiao by ~10 seconds per chamber in the right situations. Memu's team however, uses double geo Xiao Venti, which cannot benefit from electro-charged reactions. I can get 3.40 with diluc in my team, so can this guy. It all depends on the first half. 12/2 second half should be like venti releases burst, and zhongli finishes the first wave of enemies. xiao will finish the second wave,and this won't be slow considering zhongli's weapon(I don't know what's its English name..) and the fatui lady can't be sucked up by venti so the dps won't drop. and geo traveler's column may stop the lizard moving backwards.'

Thanks for the explanation here - I can theoretically see how such a team composition might clear with a fast time, but still doubtful that it can be as fast as 3min29, or even match the Bilibili video you posted, with his weapons and constellations and a mono electro team. Nah, I failed to find any. As you can see Xiao is not a popular speedrunner worldwide. Even in China, 无音 seems to be the only f2p xiao player who plays speedrun and get an excellent record. Besides, he told me that the double geo team's process is just the same as fishchl/xiao team. the difference is that Zhongli serves as a dps instead of buffer. Xiao has long been ignored by most speed runners for his dps, but 2.2's abyss doesn't require a high dps in the second half, instead it requires a proper process. A good process may well improve your record.
