With that said, if it is possible for us to revert to using the onAddChild mechanism in the future as described in https://github.com/appsmithorg/appsmith/issues/10659, I'm ok with moving ahead with this for now. Let's make sure to refer to https://github.com/appsmithorg/appsmith/issues/10659 in the comments above this implementation, and move forward.
