[Feature]: SSO redirect to a specific application instead of the worksapce #22316

Is there an existing issue for this?

Summary

When a user log in to my via my configured SSO, I want them to be redirected to a specific application instead of the workspace.

Why should this be worked on?

I am currently exploring the free trial business version of appsmith. I have now successfully configured using Azure as OIDC provider with regard to Single sign-on. When anyone enters appsmith and login via SSO, they are directed to the default page where they can see all the apps in the workspace. If they want to use an app, they have to manually click on the desired app. How do I configure Appsmith so that when users in my organization log in via Azure SSO successfully, they immediately enter a homepage of a certain app?

Absolutely agree. This is vital for companies wanting to build frontend facing applications.

I believe those who have 'view only' access to one application, should be immediately redirected to that single application.

We understand that this feature is particularly important for large-scale deployments, where there is a high number of users using an application. We are planning to address this soon and will share the solution here. cc @RoopKrrish9696
