Summary

Users would like to copy text from a text widget and use it elswhere.

It is a hygiene feature that can be supported in a text widget

Why should this be worked on?

It improves usability of the text widget and developer experience.

Hi @rajatagrawal I would like to address this issue, but I need clarification. Should we add a copy icon to facilitate copying, place the copy icon in the property pane, or display the copy symbol after selecting a portion of the text?

@Jagadeesh-90 this is not a priority at the moment. Can you please checkout issues where we are inviting contributions?

I'd love to see this feature. I think an option to enable copy mode, which places a copy text icon next to the text for a user to click.
