Summary

Hi, I'm looking for a solution to integrate with an LDAP-Server oder Active Directory as a data source. Main goal is to create simple forms for CRUD operations on an LDAP directory.

Why should this be worked on?

Interfacing with an LDAP-Directory might be useful for lots of users.

LDAP is a protocol, with numerous language SDKs for interfacing with it. Putting REST in between simply adds unnecessary delays and complexity. It would be very useful to have a native LDAP connector for integrating LDAP as a direct datasource.
