Route colors problem as depicted by Google Trip Planner

On testing our agency's GTFS feed, the bus routes show up with a florescent 
color backing that is different than the colors we specified in the routes.txt 
file making it difficult to read the text. Please see the attached screenshot. 
We would want the routes to either have a common color "i.e. black text with a 
white background" or to have the colors we specified in routes.txt.
