Map fails to load #380

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.loading the files
2.start program
3.even when you refresh the browser it does the same thing

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Map displayed.   Map flashes and goes blank

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest and windows 7 64 bit.

Please provide any additional information below.

Javascript console reports the following when this occurs:  (is this the cause? 
or a red herring?)
OverviewMapControl is no longer supported in the Google Maps Javascript API v2.
