Disconnect button in notification not working #304

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to VPN
2. Open notifications
3. Click "X Disconnect" under "OpenVPN - (profile name)" 

Expect disconnect and closing of notification panel; panel closes without VPN 
disconnect. 

On AT&T Galaxy S5, rooted stock (KK 4.4.2+TouchWiz)

"Disconnect VPN" in app works as expected.

Hm. It works for me. Do you get a dialog aksing you if you want to disconnect 
or something nothing?

I get the info+cancel/disconnect/configure dialog  when clicking the "VPN is 
activated..." notification; that works as expected. No dialog, or any 
noticeable effect, when clicking the "OpenVPN - (profile name)" notification or 
its buttons.

Oh that sounds like another bug when OpenVPN and ANdroid crash and you cannot 
even kill the app. The bug is fixed in Android 4.4.3 and later. It sometimes 
happens, especially if you use persistent-tun.

I do use persistent-tun. Since at&t has locked my bootloader, I'm stuck with 
what they give me for now: 4.4.2 in this case, can't replace it with CM or 
another yet, so I'll have to wait for them to release an update to android for 
the device before I'll be able to check it the behavior still occurs past 4.4.2.

This the problem of Android 4.4.2. There is not much OpenVPN for ANdroid can do 
about it.
