1. fresh WP install
2. load and activate Buddypress
3. load and activate BP-Media

[What is the expected output? What do you see instead?]
Fatal error: Call to undefined method BPM_nav::_struct() in 
/home/birthoft/public_html/YOURDOMAIN/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/bp-media/core
/database/abstract.class.database.php on line 64

[What version of BP Media are you using?]
Bp-Media_Nightly_Build-2011-11-25

[What version of WordPress are you using?]
3.2.1 (german de_DE)

[What version of BuddyPress are you using?]
1.5.1

[What version of PHP are you using?]
5.3.8

After that the dashboard is broken and I have to deactivate the plugins through 
phpMy Admin.

A local installation with XAMPP 1.7.4 brings up the same failure (php Version 
is 5.3.5 in XAMPP)

You're getting that error because you're using a nightly build version of the 
plugin that isn't finished. The code is trying to call a function that hasn't 
been written yet. 

We're writing that function *right now*, so hopefully in the next nightly build 
you download, you'll be able to see some more of the plugin's functionality.

Please update the Nightly Built version... I got the same issue after 
installing.
