On the elusive "New Topic" button #74

As far as I can tell, the "New Topic" button is only available in the "recent" tab, and nowhere else. Should it not be present also at least in the "categories", and "unread" tab?

It's there on category pages

What @LB-- said. Also not under the "unread" tab (which, incidentally, I find to be a more useful start page, Discourse Syndrome and all that).

I guess I may be doing it wrong. When I create a new topic it is because I just found something interesting to write about. So I go to my bookmarked page for the forum and go looking for the "new topic" button. I don't go looking into specific categories first; those are a consequence of me posting, not the reason for posting.
