To have an option to either add several map pools which can be decided from when starting pickup, or then from which the bot will choose from based on team size.
Example:
Currently each queue has one map pool attached to it and you start the pickup queue with /queue start queue:pickup. This new feature could have several map pools for each queue and queue would be started for example with /queue start queue:pickup mappool:5on5
