FF 3.6 insists on trying to open PDF files in Acrobat #162

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Got to site with a link to PDF file
2. Click on link to open PDF
3.

What version of the plugin are you using? Which version of Firefox?
1.13
FF 3.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.
Mac OS 10.6.4
Acrobat Pro 8.2.4

I've already tried reinstalling the plugin, purging my mimetypes.rdf file and 
also created another FF profile, but still get the same results. In FF 
preferences->Applications, Content Type is Adobe PDF document and it is set to 
"Use Firefox PDF Plugin for Mac OS and under Content Type Preview.app Document 
(application/pdf) it is set to the same thing.

Using FF3.6.13, OS 10.6.6. Plugin will not open in Acrobat. Says file is 
corrupt. Have tried to install threee times to no avail. Please advise.
