One possible way to implement this would be to create a preference which
globally enables or disables the animation for any revealed cards.
(Changed labels, since this is not a Quick Play issue.)

That is indeed a way.
A related issue: for Tournament the choice window hides the log whether another
player revealed a Province or not. It is not really a problem today as if I
play attention to reveal then I can see. However if an option for reveal off is
implemented then the choice windows at the bottom shall not hide the logs.
I think that a preference which globally enables or disables the animation for
any revealed cards is a very good solution.

There are often cases where I'd like to have the animation on for some cards
and off for others. For example, if I'm playing Hunting Party-Swindler, I'd
like to not have to wait to reveal all my cards each time I play Hunting Party,
but I do want to see the cards my opponent reveals -- it's important to know
whether I hit a Copper or a Curse, for example. Same for Hunting
Party-Tournament.
I suppose I could always check the log, but I'd much rather have the animation
on a per-card basis.

Another possible way : creating a separate column (like for the trash and mats)
to display the cards revealed in the current turn.
